On July 20, 2025, Mr. Eric Fang, Chief Executive Officer of Skytower Group, led a company delegation to visit Guangxi Automobile Group. During the visit, Mr. Fang held in-depth discussions with Mr. Yuan Zhijun, Chairman of Guangxi Auto Group, and conducted an on-site inspection of the company’s new energy vehicle production base in Liuzhou. The visit focused on leveraging strategic opportunities arising from Saudi Arabia’s rapid urban development and growing logistics infrastructure to explore the establishment of a modern, localized vehicle and components manufacturing base in the Kingdom.

During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views on the proposed investment, development, and operation of an automotive industrial base in Saudi Arabia. The envisioned facility would focus on localized production of complete vehicles and key components, incorporating internationally advanced manufacturing technologies and management systems. The goal is to meet the growing demand of the Saudi market and align with the country’s medium- and long-term industrial strategies, ultimately building a regional hub for the automotive industry.
Mr. Eric Fang commented during the exchange: “Guangxi Auto Group is a key player in China’s independent automotive industry, with strong technological expertise and supply chain capabilities in the field of new energy vehicle development and manufacturing. At Skytower, we are committed to introducing high-value industries into Saudi Arabia and building an industrial asset system driven by knowledge and technology. We believe that by combining Guangxi Auto’s technical strengths with Skytower’s regional integration resources in the Middle East, we can jointly create a globally competitive, locally rooted manufacturing base that contributes meaningfully to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
Chairman Yuan Zhijun spoke highly of Skytower’s forward-looking approach to China–Saudi industrial cooperation. He emphasized Guangxi Auto’s willingness to actively participate in building a full-fledged automotive ecosystem in Saudi Arabia—moving beyond vehicle exports to embrace local investment, technology transfer, and joint industrial development, while exploring a more sustainable development model. During the site tour of the Liuzhou production base, the Skytower delegation gained firsthand insights into Guangxi Auto’s progress in intelligent manufacturing, new energy powertrain systems, and modular platform development. Both parties agreed that new energy vehicles represent a significant growth opportunity in the Saudi market and that establishing localized production and service capabilities is essential.

This visit not only strengthened strategic trust between Skytower and one of China’s leading automotive manufacturers but also injected new momentum into efforts to localize vehicle production and supply chains in Saudi Arabia. Going forward, both parties will continue to accelerate project implementation and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s goals of industrial diversification, supply chain localization, and high-quality development.
