From October 27 to 30, the 2025 Financial Street Forum Annual Conference was grandly held in Beijing. As one of China’s highest-level and most internationally influential annual events in the financial sector, the forum was co-hosted by the People’s Bank of China, the National Financial Regulatory Administration, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Xinhua News Agency, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, and the Beijing Municipal Government.
It brought together distinguished representatives from governments, industries, academia, and finance across the globe to discuss the theme “Global Financial Development amid Innovation, Transformation, and Reshaping.” The participants explored how financial innovation and industrial collaboration can drive growth under the restructuring of the global economic landscape.
At the opening ceremony, He Lifeng, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended and delivered an important speech. Yin Li, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, also attended the ceremony.
Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People’s Bank of China, delivered a keynote speech elaborating on the construction and future evolution of China’s macroprudential management framework. Other attendees included Yin Yong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Mayor of Beijing; Wang Jiang, Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Financial Commission in charge of daily work; Li Yunze, Director of the National Financial Regulatory Administration; Wu Qing, Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission; Lv Yansong, Editor-in-Chief of Xinhua News Agency; and Zhu Hexin, Director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange — highlighting the forum’s policy authority and regulatory influence.
On October 28, the Entrepreneurs’ Roundtable convened, gathering political, financial, and technological innovation leaders from more than ten countries and regions under the theme “Building a Shared Ecosystem: Deepening Global Synergy between Finance and Technological Innovation.”

Eric H. Fang, Chief Executive Officer of Skytower Group, was invited to attend and deliver a speech, sharing his insights with domestic and international guests on “Financial Empowerment for Tech Innovation and the Global Integration of Industry and Finance.”
Mr. Fang emphasized that Chinese enterprises are now facing a dual opportunity brought by favorable policies and the new era of globalization. Establishing a comprehensive international strategic consulting and financial service capacity system, he noted, will be a key task. Drawing upon China’s latest outbound investment policies and corporate practices, Mr. Fang shared Skytower Group’s experience in promoting China–U.S. cooperation in renewable energy and China–Saudi industrial localization, pointing out that Saudi Arabia is poised to become the world’s next industrial and artificial intelligence hub after China and the United States. He called for joint efforts among the financial, technological, and industrial sectors to build an open and resilient global green ecosystem.
Mr. Fang also reiterated that as an innovation-driven enterprise dedicated to global green industrial layout and investment strategies, Skytower Group will continue to uphold its philosophy of “innovation-driven, synergy for mutual success.” The company will actively participate in international industrial-financial cooperation, contributing to the growth of new productive forces and the realization of global green transformation.

During the forum, participants jointly issued the “Joint Initiative on Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Real Economy through Financial and Technological Synergy”, and launched the “Ecosystem Partnership Program.” The adoption of this initiative marks a new stage in China’s collaboration between finance and technological innovation, providing global enterprises with fresh opportunities for win-win cooperation.
